British Airways Fuel Surcharges - AGAIN!

British Airway

British Airways have been forced to raise fuel surcharges again after the cost of fuel has risen again. The increase is a massive 26% for the highest paying British Airways passengers.

The extra costs are over £260 per person for a return business or first class passenger, the increase on some shorter flights is around £40 per person return.

These increases are on top of the recent increase the airline has been forced to make. The highest paying passengers on British Airways long haul flights are paying almost two thirds more than they were at the start of June.

It is expected that the cost of fuel will become the airlines biggest overhead taking over from staff wages for the first time.

British Airways is not alone in having to raise prices this way as a result of the increased costs of fuel.
