UK Passport Prices

When going on an overseas holiday a lot of people do not consider the cost of getting a passport. It could actually cost you more to get a passport than a lot of the cheap flights would cost to get you there!

A full UK passport is £72 and a passport for a child is £46 which only lasts 5 years and has to be updated again at another cost of £46.

So for a family of two adults and two children it could will cost £236 to get passports. The cost for the family over ten years would be £32.80 a year for a passport.

If you travel a lot and need a 'jumbo' passport the cost is an extra £13 for a 48 page passport.

If you need a passport quickly the charges are even greater. There is also a charge of £3.00 to return your documentation such as a birth certificate by secure delivery.
